The books handed to kids by gays

--posted by Tony Garcia on 7/06/2005

(H/T to my friend, Dan S)

OK, live and let live is quickly becoming a one way street when dealing with gay/non-gay groups. First of all the gay community (which I have heard described more accurately as a cult, complete with recruitment efforts) organizes within the schools "Gay-Straight Alliances" and the "Day of Silence".

Now what would be the reaction if there were annual heterosexual events where safe sex and the promotion of promiscuity were preached? Outrage! As well there should be. There should not be any encouragement of sex within the schools.

(BTW, I thought that the left has been saying that by allowing religious groups or the Boy Scouts to use the school's spaces constitutes school sponsorship. Therefore, using the same standard holding these events constitutes School District endorsement of the Gay recruitment events.)

Courtesy of Article 8.org there is information about the "Hard-core pornographic homosexual "how-to" booklet given to hundreds of kids at Brookline High School April 30" by GLSEN. Article 8 describes the book, "Titled "The Little Black Book - Queer in the 21st century", contains deadly misinformation on health."

Now if you are over 18 then you can decide for yourself if this booklet should be passed out to minors at any event held at on a high school grounds. (WARNING: BROCHURE CONTAINS GRAPHIC MATERIAL)

Here is a statement by John R. Diggs, MD regarding "The Black Book" by the AIDS Action Committee which was given to children at Brookline High School on April 30, 2005.

And before the cult of gays (that does NOT mean all gays, only the militant ones) attacks Article 8 for exaggerating or fabricating the pamphlet...keep in mind that the GLSEN already tried calling the allegations a lie.

From their May 17 press release (emphasis added):
Recent allegations from the far right on the one year anniversary of same sex marriage about the 2005 GLSEN Boston Conference are categorically untrue. . . Sexually explicit materials of any kind are not permitted at the conference and would be in violation of clearly stated policy. . . We assign monitors to every workshop and event to assure that all policies are strictly enforced. Boston, MA (May 17, 2005)

Their statement in the Boston Globe printed on May 18 (empahsis added):
Sean Haley of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, which sponsored the April 30 event, denied the claim. "The allegations are simply lies," he said. "We assign monitors to every workshop and event to assure that all policies are strictly enforced. No such material from AAC (AIDS Action Committee, which produced the booklet) or anyone else were ever present."

And then they later admitted that the pamphlets were indeed distributed.
Fenway Community Health expressed regret for accidentally making available HIV prevention materials designed for people over 18 years of age at an April 30 conference attended by middle school and high school-age students, educators, public health workers, college students and others.

You can see the article in Boston Globe or in the Boston Herald (requires purchase of full text).

Here is what is scary about this whole ordeal.
1) There is a hypocrisy in allowing gay organization within the schools while trying to kick out ROTC, religious groups or Boy Scouts (none of the latter promote promiscuous or pre-marital sex, btw).
2) The general response from the gay groups is first, "no way were these handed out", then "only 10, and oops, so silly." There is not any real admonision against these being handed out at a school or at an event where minors could reasonably be expected to attend.
3) There is no call to prosecute anyone for making these materials available to minors under pornography laws. Why is that? Is it because the general perception is that "gay" and "pornography" go hand in hand and so by allowing one you must allow the other?
4) That noone is calling the militant gay movement what it really is akin to now: a cult. Equally as militant and dangerous as scientology. Not all gays are dangerous (for those within the cult who misread everything critical), only the militant ones who adopt the "in your face" mentality.

Live and let live is dead on this issue. The lines are being drawn and it the time to choose is drawing near.

Wow, Tony made sense on a moral issue? What's the world coming to?

Well the Boy Scouts until recently, didn't do criminal background checks on boy scout leaders.... and recall that a high up boy scout person has been arrested for possessing child porn.

The boy scouts are problematic because they are a religious organization (they demand that scouts declare a belief in god) - that violates the separation of church and state.

Also worth noting - this is something that happened in Boston - and not here in the twin cities. Let's hear a story about a twin cities GSA.

I'm no fan of the day of silence. I don't see the point.
