Just so there is no doubt

--posted by Tony Garcia on 11/23/2005

I was having a conversation (at different time) with my mother-in-law and with a friend of mine about media bias. They actually think that Chris Matthews of Hardball is right-leaning...which explains why they do not see the biases in the MSM.

Just so there is no doubt here is a story about a recent speech that Chris had given.
"The period between 9-11 and (invading) Iraq was not a good time for America. There wasn't a robust discussion of what we were doing," Matthews said."If we stop trying to figure out the other side, we've given up. The person on the other side is not evil. They just have a different perspective.
Sorry, that is just not true Chris. There was a discussion. It was not as "robust" now because the Democrats did not have the spine to either speak and vote on what they believed then or they do not have the spine to say that they were wrong then.

Chris, you are also wrong on another point and it is enlightening to the rest of us on your philosophy on evil. They DO have a different perspective but they ARE evil. Just like Jeffrey Dahmer had a different perspective on the sanctity of life and he was evil.

What really cracks me up is that the Left wants to give moral and rhetorical shelter to the evil that the country is fighting against while saying empty stuff like, "The person on the other side is not evil. They just have a different perspective." Then in the next breath they throw Hitler comparisons, names and false accussations toward all things Repubulican.

Chris' bias is blatant in his "reporting" and his interviewing. This story helps to demonstrate the motives.
