After winning her endorsement (and a few other events that will be disclosed later...when we set up the interview) Michele was asked to comment. Her reply can be found here.

(With regards to your statement in the last post where you wrote:
"I'm a hard-line conservative, but Michele Bachmann is more of a danger to this country than Patty Wetterling...vote Wetterling.")

Stop calling yourself a conservative as of right now. Your not. No true conservative would ever endorse a pro-abort liberal. No true conservative would ever support a candidacy that would help to continue infanticide. Its one thing oppose Bachmann, but its another entirely to say "Vote Wetterling", to make that statement is to put "biterness over principle". Regardless of your opinion of Bachmann, to support Wetterling is reprehensable, and a principled conservative would never do that...ever. It is clear to me now that you are neither.

Wow...to be a conservative you have to be pro-life?

Now I know why the GOP is in trouble.

Maybe you're right...I should not support the ethically-challenged candidate's opposition. Instead I should advocate skipping that part of the ballot.

Sorry, pal. I can't sell out my for a stupid letter behind the name. I have met Michele on enough occassions to believe that ANY person of character is better than her.

I think you are mixing up principles with partisanship.

No person who has an ethical compass that they stand by could support a woman who brazenly intimidates people AT THE CONVENTION to prevent the cable bill issue from being brought to the convention floor. For that matter no person who has a duty towards ethics could stand to support someone who is breaking campaign laws already.

I am conservative, but, to use a phrase that to Republicans was a mere campaign stump speech, Character Matters.
