First, I am wondering if we should post the podcasts. We talked about Inside Minnesota Politics' bullying through threats of lawsuits. We also analyzed their "fair" commentary on the 6th District Forum. It was decided earlier that we would not. What we are considering are one of the following options:
1. Post them as normal
2. Require registration/request for podcasts
3. Require fee or promotional code for podcasts
4. Not post last week's show

If you have checked and been sure you are within the fair use guidelines, and given you do not earn any income from podcasting, I see no harm in posting it.
I have checked, we are within fair use and we will not be earning income from these.
People are welcome to troll. I have quite a few that do so. This one I thought I'd point out.
Please, podcast! Your web stream works well, and I could do my replay radio thing as I have in the past, but podcasting is far batter.
It seems to me that you have an obligation to your station KNSI that should be negotiated and/or confirmed. Would you/they lose ad revenue as a result?
Finally, as I wrote earlier, 32kb mono is plenty of fidelity for talk radio, and much more download/iPod friendly.
Because I'm so behind on these last 2 weeks of podcasts i will use the same bit-rate. (when i edit out the commercials i use that bit rate for future CD use). In the future I will make lower bit rate files for the podcast.
BTW, I hope to have this past Sunday's up today.
